Becoming a CFI or CFII is a great way to build time toward the next phase of your pilot career while getting paid for it. You must be at least 18 years of age and hold a Commercial Pilot License (CPL). You must pass a written exam, as well as an oral and practical exam. Unlike the private or commercial pilot license, a flight instructor certificate must be renewed every 24 months.
Please review steps 1-3 under the private pilot tab for more information of what we will need.
